Connect Antenna To Receiver

Connect Antenna To TV

  These steps are generalized for use with multiple television brands. Button and menu names may vary from steps listed below.

  1. Power the TV OFF/ON and take note of what channel or input the TV is on
  2. Connect the digital Winegard or RCA Antenna to the TV's Antenna In/Air/Cable port
     
     If applicable, plug antenna in to power source

     
     
  3. If TV requires a conversion box, connect the digital OTA antenna to the conversion box. If TV does not require a conversion box, skip to step 5. 

     
     
  4. Connect the conversion box to the TV
  5. Using the TV, or the TV remote, Press the Menu/Settings/Home button
  6. Select Channel/Setup/Auto Tuning/Installation/System
     
     (If the option Air/Cable, select Air)
  7. Select Scan Channels/Program Channels/Autoscan/Autoprogram
  8. Select Start/Enter/OK to begin scan
  9. Select OK/Done to complete scan

• This is an example showing a Samsung brand television and remote. These steps will not be the same for other television brands.

  1. Press Menu on the TV remote

  2. Select Channel
     
     (Set Antenna to Air)
  3. Select AutoProgram
  4. Select Start
  5. Select Start
  6. Allow channels to be scanned
  7. Select OK
